Is there truly ugly in the world? Everything has beauty in it. Like the song says "Everything is beautiful, In its own way" and the other song "Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder". Thank you, thank you very much.

What, no new sarcastic comments for 2009? So much to write about...the economy, first "black" president, etc. Your web sight is like leaving the Christmas lights still up. I hate those blow up lawn decore, they look Christmas road kill when they are deflated. Just bored tonight, trying to paint but must be in the mood. I guess art is art, writing or painting, you must have inspiration.

I read your creative Holiday advice....I too was being self indulgent searching the vast wasteland of the internet while procrastinating making the annual Christmas lasagna. It helped me kill time and avoid my life. Maybe next year I will take your advice and show up at your house with a thoughtful, well wrapped dollar store Christmas gift. Seriously, I did get a good laugh and will take more time to read your site...nice to see a very old familiar name since I am not one of those class reunion kind of gals...if you are the Rich that went to waldwick high before the navy?

Found your blog by accident (yeah right). I was looking for someone new to start stalking and YOUR name came to mind, what can I say?

But it really is great to see that you have only improved your sense of humor. Great stuff here. Keep it up! Oh, sorry....

Best of luck in your new digs.

The misunderstood rich Manhattan lawyer.

Make no mistake, This poor sap rarely has time to sit at home and make his own coffee. If fact, he pays someone else to make his coffee. He also pays someone else to clean his house, drive his car, take care for his kids, cut his lawn, pick out his clothes, and most everything else that you and I call living our lives....and this is all being done so that he can be afforded more time at work so that he can make more money so that he can continue paying someone else to live his life.

Were it not for the student loans that forced him to take a job that required 80 hour work weeks and the social pressures created by his profession (fancy leased cars, million dollar townhouses overlooking the city, etc.) and the debt that he incurs trying to kept up this facade, he would probably trade places with you in a New York minute (consider your comment about the simple life of a field mouse). Keep this in mind the next time you are having that morning coffee and I think you'll appreciate the taste that much more.

See you in class.

Amen!! People in the U.S have been spoiled rotten. About time we have been cutting back on stuff we really do not need. I recently went to a birthday party for a niece. (only child 3 years old) the amount of stuff this kid got was riduculous. She had so much that she didn't appreciate what me and my wife got her. 1 gift is what we are going to give from now on.. period. Also I think it is great for people to go on a diet. Literally. We are a country of obesity, and starts with kids. Thin that cubbard out and get kids outside doing part time-jobs or helping around the house. I have been working since I was 13 with a paper route continuesly through high school, college, and am always looking for a buck. The only way they will foreclose on my mortgage is if I am 6 feet under.
Wake up America and get off your lazy a****.

LOL— Great commentary on "The Life of Harvey." I did enjoy working with Richard very much. His intelligence and humor made the All-Tech account a great experience. Yes, Harvey did get under my skin... I think I might have slapped him once... which landed me his utmost respect! Harvey was a man of his word and taught me everything I needed to know about Day Trading. I handled all of their franchises.... GREAT account!!!! : ) ... and took great pleasure in the outcomes of the marketing program and working with Richard. I would work with Richard again given the opportunity.
